Through this channel flows the greatest volume of tidal water on earth, meaning regular visits from large and unusual pelagic fish like the incredible mola mola, or the sunfish. MV Blue Manta Explorer
Exploring Ambon, Banda, Forgotten Islands, Komodo and Raja Ampat, the spacious Blue Manta Explorer is fully equipped to take you to some of the most beautiful, exotic and remote diving destinations in Indonesia. The large steel hull vessel can accommodate up to 22 passengers in 14 beautiful, fully ensuite cabins. Measuring 45 meters in length (148 feet) the spacious cabins are situated over three decks. Indo Aggressor
The Indo Aggressor offers various Komodo diving itineraries to 4 different areas. The most well-known is Komodo National Park. Established in 1980 and declared a World Heritage Site and a Man and Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1986. The park was initially established to conserve the unique Komodo dragon. The Indo Aggressor is a traditional Phinisi boat that travels as a motorized yacht and has sails. The sails are still maintained for Komodo diving and other activities but only if offshore and weather permitting due to all the travel close to the islands.
Tiaré
The Tiaré is a luxurious yet traditional Indonesian Phinisi that will take you on a journey of discovery to some of the most stunning diving spots in the rich waters of the Indonesian archipelago.
With bright airy cabins, spacious bathrooms and a large front deck where you can socialize, there is also a separate diving deck with hot water showers to warm up after a night dive. All indoor and outdoor living areas, decks, and cabins are made with antique teak salvaged from old Joglos, which not only gives the feel of “real Indonesia”, but has helped to reduce the use of Indonesia’s disappearing rainforests.
There are two triple cabins, spacious enough to accommodate two adults and one child or three adults, with under-bed storage to ensure ease of movement around the cabin, two twin and two double cabins accommodating 14 guests total.
